Because people are bored being stuck in T1 due to insane lag issues, whatever the reason for these lags is.

Because it is a way to play, that people actually found by pushing the game further than "normal" players did, and it worked better than the previous methods.

Because of Allagan rot, because it can become quite messy even with a good team sometimes. (don't take this argument too seriously, we wipe mostly because of lag during the laser shots)

This method isn't "noob" nor "cheap". People who say that are being elitist douches that can't congratulate people doing things their own way. Who cares about how others play ? It doesn't mean they become suddely able to down twintania as easily. Let them act as they want, they did not break the game.. Or if they did, the enraged solo tank/heal Caduceus is also game breaking and the greatest tanking performance I've seen so far becomes a bannable offense. How rude

I'm not a pissed off person by any means, and I don't really care how other people down bosses (I even said above we had used the strategy). I'm not going to pretend that disabling all of a bosses abilities, however you do it, and thus taking away any semblance of difficulty from the fight isn't cheap though. Kudos to the group that found out that strategy, they're the ones that pushed the game further (or fell across it by happenstance).. everyone else just followed suit. That takes no thought or skill.

Waiting for the enrage on ADS is the same thing to me as the healer jumping into the tree for the first boss in AK so no one had to deal with adds. I would venture a guess that SE is going to "fix" the enrage so that it actually kills the party at some point. Previous fixes point to SE wanting people to actually go through mechanics, and also only really came after a particular "exploit" (I know people are going to argue about what an exploit is, which is why it's in quotations) became popular did it ever get fixed.

It's a hard enrage, and since the inception of such mechanics, they have been designed to be nigh impossible to pass. This enrage though, in all of it's inept glory, doesn't follow suit, making it not an enrage at all, but a free pass instead. This in itself makes doing the fight that way "cheap" because you are bypassing the mechanics of the normal fight.

Do the fight however you want, but don't try to claim that it isn't cheap. That's one thing that it definitely is.

Not arguing but with 6 dps il 80+, a PLD il 80+ and a good sholar, the solo tank/heal enrage for caduceus just becomes a matter of habits. seriously, just have to be careful with feeding before the split, paralyse both snakes a little longer than they should by triggering the tails, and then popping hallowed ground as soon as it reaches 7 stacks. With 6 heavily geared dps, you pass it without that much difficulties, or so I've been told. My pal still needs some levels befor eI can try that strat though ;D

A hard enrage immediately one-shots you. This is, by definition, a soft enrage. If they intended for you to wipe immediately, it would kill you in one hit. There are examples of hard enrages in this game, so it's not like SE is unfamiliar with how to make one. This is not a hard enrage.

Because, for whatever reason, people in this game are nosy as all hell. >.< They really, truly care about what other people do in the game. You should see the threads in the crafting forums about "cheating" by having someone HQ you items for triple-turn in leves. -_-
