Wired 360 controller slightly unresponsive

If I'm somehow in the wrong section, then sorry.

So an issue I've been having since I went to the PC version of XIV is that whenever I use my wired 360 controller it'll calibrate and read everything correctly. But it won't bother reading my movements unless I'm completely pushing the analog stick in that direction. (As in I cannot walk or move the camera view by slightly nudging the analog stick)

Is anyone else having this issue? or know a remedy to fix it? Because XIV is the only place this sort of issue happens. Every other game I have works perfectly fine.

Mine will continue in a direction randomly without me pushing, or not do anything at all for a second. Do you have windows 8.1 by chance? I'm starting to see a pattern with the posts... and it's windows 8.1.

I use Windows 8, but yeah I've been seeing that pattern.

I may just downgrade to Win7 to see if it helps me at all.

The problem is not the windows 8.... i have win 7 ultimate... drives instaled everyting and i have the same problem...i think the problem is from the game itself...i have other games where the analog works fine...

I have been having a similar issue only in my case it calibrates fine but then will stick in one direction or leave me unable to enter any commands for 10-15 seconds, which leaves me unable to do any dungeons\raiding or really to play the game at all.
