    One-Time Password - How to remove if lost/broken

    Mines working fine.. but I'm really curious about this.

    How does one remove the token if it's broken? we can't access our accounts without one so how does this work?

    With Blizzard they have an automated feature where they send you a code via SMS and that's how you remove the token... but with Square there's nothing like that, the only way to remove it is via the account settings but how can we do that if our tokens are broken?

    If i contact support will they give me a rough time and request bank statements, photo ID and all that gibberish?

    keep in mind this is for hardware tokens, not software.. hardware doesn't have the emergency code

    Hardware tokens if broken can only be removed by contacting SE, they do require you to verify information but it can all be done by answering questions in chat session.
