the whole group can get out without a lockout if you decide to kick a single party member and the rest can just leave unharmed too

I have no issue doing the real low lvl dungeons again and again - so long as at least one of the party actually selected to do it because they need to! If the entire group is made of roulette players it should at least pick the most lvl appropriate dungeon...course, that isn't a good thing if you are farming tomes as the higher dungeons are longer, but I think most are there for alt xp
I am too lazy to read everyone's Post, but from what I've seen... alot of people don't get many dungeons higher than 30... I would like to propose a change to the duty finder.
Why not split the low level duty finder into 3 groups: 15 - 23 (Sastasha - Halitali); 28 - 37 ( TotoRak - Sunken Temple) and 41- 49 (Cutters Cry - Aurum Vale). This Would allow you to take part in (for the most part) level appropriate dungeons.
The issue i see with this is that people will now do 3 roulettes a day to get more exp and level faster, but is that really such a bad thing? What can be done is to cap the bonus exp to what you WOULD gain at the roulette's max level. for eg. 15 - 23 max bonus would be 50k xp, thats the same ammount you would gain at 49 doing that particular roulette.
What do you guys think though?
I think they should split them up and only award bonus exp for doing one of the three per day. They can limit how many Reputation quests you can do per day, so why not give you one "Low-Level" token a day and after you run a "Low-Level" (meaning the 3 non-50 brackets) for the day you lose the token so any more don't award the bonus exp.

While I've had the same experience as everyone else here when using the Low-Level roulette, I've run into an interesting perspective of the other side. I'm trying to level my 27ACN through dungeons and when I queue up for Thousand Maws, the wait time (30min+) is no different as when I queued up as DPS for dungeons prior to the roulette system. It makes me think that the dungeons level 20 and below may currently have priority even if people are waiting in the higher level queues.
Update: I was waiting in queue while writing my post. After getting in, no one was level synced leaving me to believe that none of us were in there due to roulette. However, I can't be 100% sure since I don't know what the system is doing behind the scenes.

I think it tends to fall back on certain ones if there is no one doing at "at level." I know Copperbell inside and out now. I love when Ifrit pops up because it is over so quickly!
My question is always about exploration. When doing it as a DR, should we go for the treasure chests or not? As a tank, people tend to just follow me wherever I lead them so it is kind of my choice. I tend to look at the level syncs. If someone isn't synced I will go for the extra rooms so they can gain exp/treasure. Otherwise, we're just going to get unneeded gear that we dump off on our grand company for seals or sell to some random vender.
For example, there is that one room in Sastasha that branches out into various rooms (though you only need to go through 2 doors). I notice that people tend to just want to blow through it and get their tomes.

Other than just looking at the level sync take a look at the other players gear, if it's still pretty low level, or just not very good, then some of the aetherial gear and greenies can be worthwhile.
Just did Sastasha #15 today. They can't fix this soon enough! Trying to level a lvl 40 drg off sat and cb is just a pain.

Agree. If people are all wearing level 50+ gear, I'll skip. But if they're wearing gear level appropriate for the dungeon, I'll go for the chests.
You can also often tell when you pop a coffer and the first piece drops. If everyone immediately passes and no one gets the piece, then just skip the coffers. That's usually a sign that everyone is passing on everything.

You can always ask, too, just to be sure. "Do you guys want me to get treasure chests this run or skip them?" for example. Some of my friends are trying to get the Foestriker set which mostly just drops from the boss, so we tend to ignore all the other treasures chests.
