    This is just PATHETIC - they're simply pulling our legs by further delays, clouding the issue, keeping the disparity between the servers and tellings us to suck it up! Nothing else but playing the stall game ... Drop and even prices NOW or take that crap out until you sort out your servers.

    If it's any comfort to you guys on legacy servers, our plots on our servers are empty as well. I think it's silly that we have to pool all our money to buy one person (the guild leader) a fancy house while we don't even have personal housing yet and don't even know how much that will be. The devs made us believe that FC housing was going to be affordable. So my faith in them saying personal housing will be affordable as well is suspect at best.

    i think it's easy, the price reduction will set the price for new plots. So new plots would start that price and start the devaluation timer from there. The current wards are anyways descending to that price. By around that dates the current plots will cost that reduced price.

    Hmm... In the year-end Letter from the Producer, Yoshi-P talks of adjusting "floor pricing" or "lower limit" pricing. It made me wonder how these changes will be made and how fast we'll see pricing drop. Regardless, SE said legacy world adjustments will be weekly and overall adjustments will be bi-weekly, so I'm still hopeful we could see actual reductions before mid-January.

    SE followed up the notice linked in the OP with dates (and seemingly higher reductions). Thursday January 2 was the first adjustment. Looking at current prices, the good news is that SE isn't resetting pricing. It's as if they changed the initial price of the house, and the current prices show the normal decrease over time from the initial posting.

    So in other words, the price of the least expensive small house on Balmung ("Group B") changed from 20M to 16M, and the price now, 18 days after it was put up for sale, is the decreased amount of 14.4M. Likewise, the 75M medium changed to 60M (current price 54M), and the 250M large to 200M (current price 180M).

    Pricing for "Group C" (JP data center legacy worlds) should have changed by even greater amounts. The 40M small should have a current price of 29M, the 150M a current price of 108M, and the 500M large a current price 360M.

    The next price drop is scheduled for late Thursday January 9 (around 7pm PST). Judging by the above, Group B current pricing for least expensives should then be 12M/46M/152M, and Group C least expensives should be 24M/91M/305M.

    And of course, as SE said, there will be continued price reductions over the next ~2 months to match pricing of "Group A". Anything left unsold at that point should be priced at around 4M/15M/50M for lowest priced S/M/L plot. ... but I doubt many will be left unsold at those prices.

    Just keeping this thread updated with what I posted in another thread yesterday (and confirmed today).

    Based on the latest schedule for Legacy world price reductions (here):

    Fri Jan 17 prices for NA legacy worlds:
    • Legacy prices drop 14%.
    • New prices: 10M, 37M and 124M for least expensive S/M/L.
    • JP data center worlds will be double those prices

    Fri Jan 24 prices:
    • Legacy prices drop 17%.
    • New prices: 5.9M, 29.5M and 98.4M for least expensive S/M/L.
    • JP data center worlds will still be double those prices

    The Jan 24 price of the small legacy plot includes the 25% reduction scheduled for Jan 20 announced by SE here.

    There is no way that small house is worth more than 1 Mill and that's exactly what is should cost from the very begining instead of this stupid charade with price "re-evaluation" and "decreases". Simply PATHETIC! Medium 4 Mill and Large 10 Mill - and that's maximum somehow "acceptable" prices and should still fall with every 6 hour decrease so in theory possibility of reaching 500 k / 2 Mill / 5 Mill in 3 months. THATS realistic pricing. Anything else is just smoked-up stall tactics.

    Honestly I don't know how FC's on Hyperion are making Gil other than treasure hunts. Immediately after we bought our house our server's economy crashed further. On average we pulled in 1mil median per day. I don't know how that is possible on our server now. I haven't looked at a market board in a while. But it is possible.
