DF should have content tuned for pugs

In DF, people often quit if the group doesn't succeed the first time. People go into DF expecting other people to be experienced, have great gear, and succeed the first try ... which is completely unrealistic.

I enjoyed using DF until I reached Garuda/Titan HM, where it became clear that the difficulty was greater than what DF pugs could reliably handle. I eventually beat Titan HM in DF, but it took so many tries that I kept at it more to see if it could be done than because it was fun.

FFXIV should rethink DF. There should be content tuned for DF, and content tuned for coordinated groups. The coordinated content should simply not be on DF.
Easier versions should be on DF for pugs.

This would make FFXIV more clear about the target audience for content (groups vs pugs vs solo), rather than creating content that's too hard for DF, yet suggesting that it's accessible to pugs by putting it on the DF.

more like the community need to rethink and not FF it self... .

There already a function for Coordinated group that is called PARTY FINDER.. Those people need to use them often more.

Sure if they don't get any of the same loot.

Also you can opt out of the nerfs so you can practice it as it was meant to. Basically there should be no incentive.

What's funny is... The content IS tuned to PuG, not just fully formed groups, they just expect people to actually try to communicate and explain things to anyone that hasn't done it before. Oh and, you know, pay attention.

i think the content is fine for pugs, like muzy said, people are just expected to communicate and work together...which rarely seems to ever happen

The issue lies more with the players rather than they way the get grouped.

I like having harder content on DF..

When people have patience, comunicate and work together with the group, it can be done. The problem is our "quitter culture", someone dropping at the first sign of failure and everyone following after since we got used to not being able to replace.

This is all too true, as well as the fact that people expect to be able to ignore mechanics for whatever reason and not pay attention to what's going on and then be handed loot and tomes on a golden platter.

Communication and paying attention to mechanics go a long way.
