PC client occasionally hangs after clicking into a textbox requiring a numerical valu

This has been happening to me since the start of 2.1. I'll go into Party Finder, trade menu, or a retainer, and click into a input-value box for gil, avg item level etc, and the client will just start to hang. Everything stops moving and all sound stops. Have to force shutdown with Ctrl+Alt+Del. Does not happen 100% of the time.

Steps to Recreate:

1. click on input box for numerical value in any menu.
2. Observe client freezing/hanging.
