I'm going to go ahead and start by pointing out a few things about myself in an attempt to avoid the "you just want to be spoon fed" posts I'm expecting to follow this report.

1) I love farming, and I'm especially fond of Crystal Tower because I love teaching and as it sits, I've yet to do a run where I wasn't teaching people the mechanics so this is really two notes in one.
2) I didn't file a complaint when it took almost three months between my first coil drop and my second.
3) There was a similar incident which Square Enix acknowledged and corrected when Coil was first released, so it isn't a stretch to think it might be occurring again.

Those things said, here's the issue I've been having.

I ran Crystal Tower over two dozen times this week trying to get the Crimson Legs from King Behemoth, and out of those trips I never did find my legs. Instead, I saw the Ballad Corselet (Bard chest) drop at least once out of every two trips I made, if not for both trips. Coming in second was the Fuma Hakama (monk legs) which dropped maybe five times then the Armor of Light (tank chest) which dropped three times. After seeing it drop for the second time I decided to just take the Crimson Circlet because after over two dozen trips into Crystal Tower and seeing the Ballad Corselet drop every one or two runs, I got sick of praying and decided to just report this as a bug and hope for better luck next week. I'm not the luckiest person on here, as mentioned when I stated that it took me the better part of three months to get my second drop from Coil, but I doubt I'm so unlucky as to see the Corselet drop so many more times than everything else, and not once even see the Crimson Legs.

If anyone's had similar experiences, please post them, but try to give numbers when you do. I keep track of what I see as drops because my brain tends to be frustrating and likes to remind me of how my odds are stacking. This is not a complaint about how it's taking forever to find the item I want, and didn't post this after two or three trips with no success. With over two dozen trips into Crystal tower, I saw the Ballad Corselet at least thirteen times, the Fuma Hakama five times, Armor of Light three times, Crimson Circlet and Royal Robes twice each. If you do the math, that's twenty-five items but being honest, I can't remember the exact number of trips, though it was no more than twenty-eight and I can't remember the exact number of runs where I was unable to get the chest from King Behemoth due to glitches or people rage quitting. By the time I made my twenty-fourth trip I was just too sick of seeing the Corselet to keep counting.
