Improvement to Duty Finder - Chocobo Leveling

I would have to say that the hardest part of leveling your Chocobo is that you can not do it while waiting for a Duty.
Why can't the Chocobo be written in as a Summoned pet like the Arcanist ?
Hard enough to earn the Chocobo experience as it is but you can't have him out while awaiting the duty ... which depending on your role as a DPS can be a half an hour or more at times awaiting specific dungeons.

This game, even though I think it's great in general, has a number of absurd restrictions and this is one of them. I have no idea why mounting, queuing for DF, etc are not allowed while having it out.

I would actually use my chocobo more often if it didn't restrict me so terribly too. I'd like to DF queue and then level my chocobo while waiting, but I can't.

I'd also like to stay in a party with my friends as I do my main scenario quests when it gets to an instance portion...but I can't....stupid resrictions.

Couldn't agree more. I am sure it is a technical issue with chocobo not really being "pets"; but I would love this to be fixed as well. Nothing more frustrating that popping out Smoochies just to have the game go "LOL QUEUE DROPPED"
