My main is a whm but I recently started to level a tank. I have all DL gear but only a level 55 GC, weapon. I purposely use duty finder low level to learn how to tank in a group. Rushing things doesnt help people like me learn a job. We all know fates don't teach anyone anything about their jobs. I understand what your saying about the commendation votes but it still doesn't solve the problem of how are people suppose to learn their jobs if others are in a hurry. Learning how to dps and heal is easy but learning how to tank is hard with lots of pressure. I don't feel it would be fair for me to learning tanking in a level 50 dungeon. I understand why there is a high demand for tank's and why many won't do it.

Seriously, this. You want to group with friends only? Fine, you don't get the bonus for joining with random people, which is the point of the duty finder. To get more people to help get groups faster. Your bonus for joining with friends is more predictable runs.

One thing i do wish, is if i could select multiple duty categories, like story and high, and just go to which pops first. I don't really get why you can select multiple dungeons, but with DF only one.

Try running AK with two bards. We couldn't even get passed the first boss.
I understand the low level dungeons and trials, I have no problem with those and helping new players.
I think the high level dungeon should be a bit more restrictive, group make up, and gear.

BTW, the two bards were in full Darklight and could not get it done on the first boss of AK. Could have been the tank too, but after a few wipes I had enough.

Not that it wouldn't be immediately exploited and used to grief, but it'd be pretty funny to see repeated bad behavior lose people commendations.

Desythe, I've ran AK with 2 bards before a couple times, did it fine without a problem for the whole run. 2 bards in full DL must have been doing terrible then as there's no reason why they couldn't get the first boss down. Duty Roulette is there for a reason for solo queues, and that's to help the low level players get through the story dungeons which they would wait for at least an hour or 2 before getting in before 2.1 came out. The bonus is there to make it enticing so that the high level people would do them to help out other people. If you want full group, then queue directly into the ones you want and miss out on the bonus. Can't have it both ways. The bonus for going in as a group is that you get to be with friends and enjoy your time, while roulette is bonus stuff to compensate for your time for redoing the low level stuff that most people don't need to do. Nobody is forcing you to use roulette if you don't want to end up in a random group So please don't use the word force lol. Nobody is pointing a gun at you and ordering you to do it. You have a choice. By the way, with the high level Roulette, you only need to do that like 5 times a week with CT and Coil and Primals and you get your cap easily. Or you can grind out myth the long way by doing it with a full group. Take your pick.

That would defeat the entire point of the Roulette unfortunately. Especially for the lower level dungeons. You're getting that bonus BECAUSE you're being rolled into a group of randoms. If you were able to group they'd take away the bonus.

I could see them allowing people to df roulette as pairs as the seems to be a common problem for some couples. Allowing people to df roulette as a whole group defeats the purpose of roulette.

I love how DR is currently working, please do not fix it! I get to meet a lot of people I normally would not have the chance to meet and adventure with! IMO (opinions of others may vary), it is the greatest thing to happen to Duty Finder up to date. Party finder is nice and all, and I'm glad it was implemented, but DR really makes DF fun for me. Its no longer the boring spam of Garuda HM with the same people for 2 hours...

Is it that you want the rewards of roulette with your friends? That you want a random queue for groups? Both? I am baffled.

1 or more of those Bards must have been a bad then. Did you see 2 Venomous Bites and 2 Windbites up on the boss? Did they keep multiple buffs coming up onto themselves at several times during the fight? If the answer is no to either of those, then you know you have a bad Bard. We don't have many actual attacks to cycle through, so those DoTs need to be kept up at all times to keep DPS going, along with us reapplying our attack buffs whenever possible just so we can keep up the DPS on par with other classes (and even then we fall short).

Honestly I wish they'd leave it solo queue, someone who has 2 or 3 people can easily make parties on server and be golden.
