Higher Resolution Wallpapers?

The art posted in the fankit section is beautiful, but at a resolution way too small for my devices / monitor.

Is this the appropriate location to request higher resolution images?

The thing is, 1920x1080 is still the dominant resolution out there for PC gamers. Look at the Steam hardware survey for a good sample size.

I play at 2560x1440 and I long ago just accepted that I'm still the minority when it comes to high resolution gaming.

It won't remain a minority for long, DP is slowly replacing DVI-I/D, costs to produce the displays have fallen, Intel/AMD have been working with display manufactures to make 2560x1440 displays "Mainstream" for desktop users in 2014.

I, too, would love to see some 2560x1440 love. Several of the backgrounds look awesome, and I would totally download them, but there'd be so much dead space around my monitor that it keeps me from doing it. . .
