^. There's already more than enough client side 'action' going on even to the point you can ...do some shady things. The "lag" isn't that bad unless your ISP does insane loops to get to the game's servers/datacenter, otherwise the amount of people playing with no issue (and no, no one is just "used to it") is why the design works - even when they changed some timing the people who always had issues will continue to have issues because it's not the game.
