"Kindness of Strangers" are not kind at all

Forgot to tell this: I was already in full party from the beginning, which should gave me Gold medal, if not for these healer-jerks keep rezzed me out of FATE zone. While the others got their gold medals, I alone got Silver.

Oh... and last time they did this again, Odin was in really low health and preparing his 1-hit kill ws. ><

There's really nothing unusual about this. I haven't even received a Gold on Odin ever. It seems the only parties that usually manage that are the party that gets claim and survives, or, has been there since Odin was claimed.
I've done Odin a fair amount of times and have even fought him when he was practically at 90% HP, and only received Silver ratings, even when I pumped out tons of damage on him.

Behemoth on the other hand I seem to always get Gold no matter what. I guess he's just easier to get Gold on.

I would probably say it was kindness, considering leaving a fate zone does not reset your progress unless you need to leve siync and even that is up for debate. also for single target monsters its based on contribution of the group. it is possible to hit it once! and because everyone else in group was hitting it get gold. so if you were in a group, hit the guy even once, and got silver. that means your groups contribution was in the silver range. This also effects healers who get contribution for healing players in the fate. a single heal is enough to get full contribution.

EDIT: even when level sync'd it still keeps progress, just tested. Seems as long as your in the same map zone as the fate it keeps track of your credit.
I am going to have to surmise the player, or the party if they were in one. was only at the level of silver.

You can definitely get credit from being outside the 'FATE' circles as long as you've participated. I've run halfway across the South Shroud map after throwing in a bunch of items or kills for one FATE, run to another one far away before it was over to participate in another, and then get the reward from the previous FATE I participated in to maximize exp from the FATE's. Hell, for the Odin/Behemoth fates, you don't even half to be alive to get a reward at the end.
