Id also like to point out that I'm in the same boat in regards to Titan em, I am learning and I have no trouble finding groups to learn with and even gotten pretty far. Even in DF groups have been good and I've learned a lot. There's shouts for a farm group and I just ignore them, and work towards having it on farm myself.

It's just a shame to see the community gating itself. The root problem isn't so much with the gear as it is with the players. It's sad to see shouts TWO days after 2.1 released "LFM Garuda EX. ilvl85 or above. Experience required. If you don't have Zenith and made it past <insert phase here>, don't join and if you die more than x times, I'll kick you from party".

I find this a little hypocritical. You call for us to respect others, yet you have no respect for the people whose preference it is to build groups of experienced players.

None of this happens for me. I can pug Titan HM, easy, and farm it. I pugged Garuda Ex on 2.1 Day 1 and cleared it on day 2. Pugged Moogle mog and cleared that. I pug CT solo and clear that. Got Titan EM past add phase a couple times, also via pugs.

Want PS or HM dungeons? ilvl90 and experienced

public groups are worthless. There's a point to FC's. No, not the group of people from school/work that never log on, I mean a real FC. People that actually play the game and are par for your level of activity.

I've beaten everything so far for the first time in a PUG . Titan HM I beat the first, second, and third time in DF (then my DF parties failed over and over again so I guess I was lucky. I was trying to get the Titan weapon just to have it...). Ultima took quite a number of tries.

For the more difficult and important battles it has not been uncommon to get a few people carrying somebody and needing just a few extras.

So far, the most difficult battle to PUG has been Garuda SM. So many wipes. The horror.....

I am on Sargatanas and there may be some elitist groups but, many are just enjoying the game and trying to clear content.

You can try DF for Titan HM, seems to be pot luck. Also try using Party Finder for it.

If I am on I will help with the fight as well.
