You do realize many people are looking to farm Garuda ex for ring or rare drops, which is why they insist on people who have killed before. When people feel like they have content on farm and are just looking for drops it makes sense to form groups capable of farming.

There's nothing wrong with people setting group objectives and rules, make your own groups if you don't like that. Everyone learned at some point in appropriate groups so go wild, find some people also learning and have fun. Does everyone who wants to farm WP also jerks for asking for people and jobs which are capable of a farm? Because that's still what I see the most in revenant toll shouts.

Also man having it on farm is not face rolling a keyboard. The ex primals have mechanics that can't be ignored and require the group to do a laundry list of things every time. Don't trivialise their ability because they trivialise content.

None of this happens for me. I can pug Titan HM, easy, and farm it. I pugged Garuda Ex on 2.1 Day 1 and cleared it on day 2. Pugged Moogle mog and cleared that. I pug CT solo and clear that. Got Titan EM past add phase a couple times, also via pugs.

I've beaten everything so far for the first time in a PUG . Titan HM I beat the first, second, and third time in DF (then my DF parties failed over and over again so I guess I was lucky. I was trying to get the Titan weapon just to have it...). Ultima took quite a number of tries.

For the more difficult and important battles it has not been uncommon to get a few people carrying somebody and needing just a few extras.

So far, the most difficult battle to PUG has been Garuda SM. So many wipes. The horror.....

Id also like to point out that I'm in the same boat in regards to Titan em, I am learning and I have no trouble finding groups to learn with and even gotten pretty far. Even in DF groups have been good and I've learned a lot. There's shouts for a farm group and I just ignore them, and work towards having it on farm myself.

public groups are worthless. There's a point to FC's. No, not the group of people from school/work that never log on, I mean a real FC. People that actually play the game and are par for your level of activity.
