Delay between Client and Server.

Greetings FFXIV community, i have read some topics about the dealy between the client and the server, and this affect me too, but i would like 2 discover the cause of this, if are FFXIV servers or distance problem or mine problem.

when i try 2 avoid some "fast aoe" i got hitted also if see my self VERY BUT VERY FAR AWAY, not just out side the red range of pair of steps, but some times im in the other side of room, and as tank you can imagine is big problem get 900/1k dmg free when you can avoid it....

also some times this dont hapen.... but i dont reconize any lag in my connection or ping get increased.

with all the others aoe that arent' so fast i can avoid them all also with this issue.

But here comes the strange fact, some players saw me still in the red area when i got hitted, also if see my self outside.

i would like 2 know if the lag issues between server and client got fixex, if could be the distance between my location and server the issue that made me have a delay in game.

i never had lag problems, and this is not a lag problem, but a delay.

i played very many others online games, and never never never got lag issues, but what some ppl told me about they still see me in the red are, scare me a bit.

Im in the eu data center, and i live in the eu so is supposed 2 have good response time.

i got this problem inside and also outside the istance, could my problem be amplify when i do party with ppl in other server, and connected by cross server? because i think is more persistent while in istance...

i played also some action games, with very more faster dynamics, and never ever got any lag problem.

could be FFXIV use a particular connection different of other games that make me delay?

ISP Fastweb

Connection type: ADSL 20 Mega, (Effective: ) 13 mega download 1 mega upload.

Usual Ping: 30 ms (stable)

Connecction: always stable and good

Caratcher: Lonewolf NightHowl

Server: Lich

Issue frequency: permanent

Party or Solo: solo, and when in party.

I would like to know another pair of things:

Is permissed use extarnal programms 2 imrpove the delay and the ping?

Can i have the ip of lich server 2 see the ping of server and response time, so i can give you more details?
