Commendation System: So who get's your vote?

Also, I like explaining bosses, but do you guys still really get new people in DF? I always get veterans or something...not much to explain there.

So do I Just yesterday I had a new Bard in Stone Vigil when I was levelling my DRG and I took to explaining the mechanics and bosses and the Bard expressed how grateful he/she was for the help, but not even one commendation at the end of it all lol.
It's hard for DPS to stand out in an instance unless your helping explain bosses and mechanics, obliterating bosses and mobs, not getting hit and managing to stun everything but even at that some people just default to commending tanks and healers anyway :S
