For me I give:
1-First timers and new players
2-DPS (we don't get much love)

During WP runs, my comm goes to any whm who didn't spam holy, or to tanks that knew where to pull enemies to avoid sir stabby the 14th's patrolling friends~
Dps get my comm /if/ they take note of tank's max health and monitor how many stacks of rancor the king has~
for most other dungeons -
A) anyone friendly
B) happy to explain boss mechs to new players
C) anyone who played their part particularly well
D) new players who didn't try to hide their lack of experience and who were happy to try different tactics. (One such instance was asking a CNJ to augment killing the fire sprites in halatali's final boss)
1. Anyone that speaks more than 2 characters
2. Anyone that does their jobs to the best of their perceived ability, because sometimes you can tell between a bad lazy healer and someone that is really trying their best.
3. Knows mechanics or asks before fights instead of winging it.
4. Anyone who commends me, even if I didn't perform my best.

anyone except Tanks and Healers.
its usually the other dps in the party. only if he's rude/doesnt play his job correctly. then i would pick either tank/healer (random).![]()
Kind of off topic but I noticed some people who had their 500 commendations within a few days of implementation on Blamung server. Abuse of the system much? Might want to look into that, SE.![]()
It isn't really that hard. Roll a tank/healer and do the first few Guildhests repeatedly and be nice. I got about 15 in my first hour of playing when commendations came around with Guildhests only and I wasn't even farming them, I was just doing Guildhests to unlock new story content. There are many people out there that will sit and run the same Guildhest repeatedly for a few hours each day.
If anything they just underestimated how much people are willing to farm when you don't put a weekly cap on something. Mindless grinding isn't new to the majority of MMO players.
Moogle: Black Mage ftw.

Here's a link to a bunch of rotation and DPS numbers I wrote up to try help BLM see they aren't as weak as they might think.

The first two or three guildhest only take 5 or 6 minutes to do so theyve basicly just ran that 500 or so times.
.
I agree so much that we shuld be able to command someone else even when we are with friends...I guess it's complicated though coding a different system so that it blocks out the person/s you queued with. But it's sad. When I do CT I never ever queue alone, but still theres many other people in my group who I'd like to commend and can't. Same with all the other dungeons I duo queue for...there's 2 other persons who are missing on commendation.

I usually give my vote out for whomever actually did the best in their role that run. That being said, I know I've done really well as a summoner in dungeons with a bad tank and a terrible healer only to come out without any commendations. This whole "Healer and Tank" patting on the back thing is really disheartening for DPS players.

I'd happily give my vote to you Nel because you're famousI usually give my vote out for whomever actually did the best in their role that run.
