But sleep has the 'potential' to be on both sides. Purify can be shorted to almost half the time with points and most of the healers I see on both sides do remove sleep so esuna and leeches ARE a valid option. If people are getting slept for 30 seconds, it is their play style and choices not the CC that is the issue. In a pug, I have the same chance as you in coming across a whm or blm whether that be an opposing pug player or 3 man premade. As I stated before, I try to avoid putting myself in a position to get sleep cast on me, I suggest the same.

The difference being, you are a BLM, so your team will always have it. Sleep and Weight are two of the only status effects that last longer than 12 seconds, and even really call for the reduced cooldown on Purify. You can sit through a few stuns, that have diminishing returns, and live. Then you get to run free for a whole minute immune to stuns. If you get Swiftcast Sleeped, Purify out of it, and get put to sleep again, you're still asleep for 15 seconds. Not to mention the instant cast AoE sleep that BLM can take as a PvP skill. 15 more seconds of sleep, on the enemy group, without sucking up your Swiftcast, and the next sleep is still 15 seconds. Try all you want to defend it, but it doesn't matter if it can be on both sides of the fight, it's still broken. Crowd control abilities that can turn a 4v4 into a 4v1 for nearly a minute should not go unchecked.

Definitely agree. A poster that comes to a thread and demands that every class but their own be nerfed is either:

A: A troll
B: A soccer mom that also demands there will be no keeping score in the games so everyone is a winner and gets a trophy because her little Johnny has been fed with silver spoon and has no desire to place any effort into anything his entire lifetime and it would be unfair for him not to win automatically just for showing up.

No I did not miss it, it was a complete troll post and I stated it outright. Perhaps my sarcasm on the soccer mom (geared toward those that seriously QQ on pvp) simply flew over your head?
I corrected my post to delete the portion of the troller failing to mention their own class – the point of my original reply remains unaffected by this change.
