Frequent "Server connection lost" aka 90000 Error code

did you guys open your router ports?
if not thats your issue.

Never made any special port configuration on the router for the last 2+ years since I have played FFXIV, why should that be an issue now?

Once again, the only thing changed that was made was patch 2.1 aka more data centers.
