    Means basically the same thing as "by the way." So, it's not an error, but I see how it could be confusing if you haven't heard it before.

    Thank you for taking the time to submit this concern! As Viridiana mentioned, this is phrase that is very much like "by the way". It is not necessarily common to use but it is acceptable grammar!
