If something doesn't happen to help with this or something, then I'm afraid I'm going to be off the boat as Zourin is.5-Find some way to fix the issue where people sell HQ items for the same price or less than NQ prices. It's really stupid and almost most likely Gil farmers that are doing this. It takes time to make HQ items and yet it forces others out of selling stuff because nobody wants to spend hours making HQ items that makes little profits.
While I still enjoy tackling a lot of the new content that was introduced, the increasing frustration with the markets & how pointless my crafting classes feel now is discouraging.
On our server, a lot of the crafting recipes aren't even worth crafting and people are constantly undercutting others by large amounts & with HQ items nonetheless.
Not to mention the huge increase of ease to farm Phil tomes has very much hurt items like Peacock Ore & such in the markets.

Honestly the best way to boost the economy is not something the regular players like us can do. How it is currently i do not think the af2 gear should be able to be bought with tomes. To get it you should need to have completed your class quest and gotten the normal af set then wile gathering materials in the dungeons instead of buying them from a vendor the would either need to have the crafting class required to 50 or find someone that does to upgrade them to the af2 set. This would give people more reason to run he high level dungeons so they can upgrade there af2 gear most likely this would need to be gathered in coil or higher dungeons and would need to be better than the allagan gear. this would help by making some of the pieces able to be sold not all but some essentially giving crafters a purpose at end game except melding materia into the weapon needed for relics and have some of the mid tier 50 dungeons have other simmilar items drops so crafters can craft equipment equivalent to the current af2 set so instead of getting dl/crafted equivalent then af2 then allagan it would be dl/crafted equivalent then crafted armor then allagan then af2.

I don't agree with that notion. You would allow players to hold everyone else's gear as hostage since crafters would be the only way to get the AF2 gear and said crafters could charge stupidly high prices for the materials or the gear.
Why not make Guildhests a gil fountain? They're already, in terms of story, essentially a contract killing. Make the dungeons an EXP farm with current cash rewards and make the guildhests the money farm with cash roughly equivalent to the regular duties? Since guildhests are so quick, that could inject some cash into the economy of every server in a hurry and actually give people a reason to play them.
