    My 5870 has a huge cooling setup on it (Vapor-X, OC edition), so it needs periodic re-seating in the PCI-E slot (the locking clip doesn't quite work as intended I guess). I usually get a run of gold vertical bars on a black screen flashing periodically when it starts creeping loose. If I don't get to it soon enough, the screen will start doing a full-on black out, then eventually the whole system will crash.

    Just mention it in case no one has also tried to re-seat their video and/or sound cards as well as the RAM. Sometimes it is surprisingly that simple.

    I have been having this exact same issue. It's driving me nuts. The game will work for a whole day without closing once. Then sometimes I've had it error as soon as I logged in. I've been seeing more posts about this. This should be bumped up I think. Has anyone else had any luck with this problem?
