Just saw the pop-up for GeForce Experience, and it shows that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now optimized! It's a Christmas miracle! lol

It doesn't optimise anything it just tweaks your settings, something you can do yourself.
That's the point of it. It tweaks your settings so the game can run better on your computer based upon your own personal setup. Like on my window, it's telling me to take off a lot of options even though the game already runs well. I have a GeForce 555M GT, but with all the options I have flagged for Quality, it's telling me to take them off based upon my hardware. My game already runs at 50 FPS, so I'm fine with the options I already have! I'm posting this if anyone else wanted to see how good their computer can run the game; like if someone has their options below the settings of their computer, but they can actually run those selections higher!
Same for me, tried it out with GeForce Experience and it settled my settings much lower, eventhough in High Pop Areas with tons of flashy things i dont have any fps drops nor lags whatsoever. Got a GTX 570 myself and i play on pretty much everything on Max, Sensor checking of the GPU are showing to be all still fine. So id say use the GeForce Experience to gain a safe point and then start tweaking it up for more pleasure and keep checking with Sensors so your GPU doesnt accidentally melt![]()
Do you guys really need GeForce Experience to tweak the game?
If you have a laptop like me, I think it would be good to use it. I wouldn't want my laptop to overheat, but it somewhat does it with the current settings I have on the game right now. I think GeForce Experience would make it run just as good, but with the loss of quality it wants to give me so the performance will be better.
