I consider myself an average player skill-wise, and tanking Garuda EX in full darklight was not difficult at all (DF party). I could have done it in less than ilvl70. Of course, the whole party has to know what they're doing, otherwise you wipe even if you're ilvl90.

I'd love to see an ilvl 57 party with two tanks beat Titan hard. Pretty sure the mages wouldn't even have the HP for Tumult.

Ifrit EX, one of the rare fights in the game where Selene is usefull for something else than dps !

Dat stoneskin combo on top of that magic def buff is rock solid. Learn to your Scholars how to stack fairy's buffs by swappin of when shit get real

Otherwise : it's entirely possible to do it at ilvl requirements. After all Garuda EX is a simple dps check, you just have to save your cooldowns for adds and the encounter is somehow trivial alreay. Even better with ranged since they can profit of requiem when they got to burn them, also go in with a WAR, that -10% debuff is valuable.

It is possible, just use all the tools you got in the game in a proper maneer

The item level requirement stated in game assumes skilled players, that's all. If players are not doing their DPS rotations properly, not holding aggro/tank swapping, or healing efficiently... then yeah, maybe having more gear (like the values you stated) will allow them to overcome it despite being less skilled.

lets assume you go minimum ilvl with the highest possible DPS output on everyone in garuda. I guaranteed you you will not be able to defeat the 2nd sister before time is up. and even if you could the twister phase would last so long that the fight could easily take a good 20+ minutes... (I tried with a very competent group in the mini ilvl requirement) I think we ended up wiping from starvation of utilities since the fight lasted 25+minutes due to only been able to hit garuda inside the eye of the storm per twister phase, since the sister died as she was warping and WHM had to DPS to not run out of time.

King mog isnt even that hard you just have to have people that stay away from teh pld and out of aoe's.

Actually, if your DPS isn't good, you'll wipe to King's ult move the second time b/c not enough moogles are killed (just like pre-King phase).

Source: have wiped to this by accident b/c DDs got confused and started hitting 3 different moogles after BLM/WHM/BRD died so nothing else died.

Overgearing to beat bosses, that's the pro way to do it.
Just remember to complain that the game has no contents and that it's too easy.
