The REAL item level requirement for extremes (becuz dev where drunk)

One problem with that.....if you have ilvl 85 you don't need crap from extremes except on your alts so why even bother? SE really needs some reward in this game there is actually decent challenges in the game but have no incentive to do it because the rewards are garbage there is very little difference right now between someone that has cleared everything and someone who has just got their max myth every week.

As for the OP this is a pointless thread because the only way that gearscore matters is if you are doing extreme mode in the duty finder. And if you are that is your real problem not the gearscore itself.

Player skill can also help lower your need for the highest ilvl.

Problem is, with the majority of boss fights, there are more DPS/healing/survivability checks than the actual skill requirement.

Titan HM is destroying DF groups because a double tank setup is going to have a hard time dishing out enough damage to meet the check on heart phase without auto-attacking for LB3 in phase one which is incredibly stupid, and even if they LB3 the heart, there's always the problem of tumult stacking which becomes mathematically impossible to heal through later on if your overall DPS is low enough.

"Grind more gear while we come up with more restrictive lockouts" is the universal solution to everything, and frankly, it's far from "fun".

most people cant even get to that level unless they wait weeks to get enough myth tomestones & do coils and get the drops they want. unless you focused all you myths on one job your stuck. SE and there stupid lockouts & limits. needing high ilvl just means your gonna be eating the aoe's which is your problem not the equipment requirements. SE beat it at the minimum.
im pretty sure everything can be beat in DL.

These fights were developed with one thing alot people leave out.


The right mix of classes.
I'm sure they tested all this with the right mix of classes covering the weakness of each class. Also I have done garuda with my 73 tank at the time, a warrior none the less and did it with a party finder group. Everyone bashed me because I was to low of an I level and the only reason I was invited was because it was late and they needed a tank. And guess what after all that bashing and 3 runs of me figuring out the mechanics I dominated it. The healers also did a good job I had a few holy crap moments but never died.

I personally agree that maybe it should be darkish minimum that's all otherwise everyone needs to be top notch.

I think people who set those ili requirement so high in party finder like at 85-88 must suck personally because they need to be that over geared to clear the content

From what i have seen, full dl is not enough to survive, even with accessories to boost your hp and even if you dodge everything
