ffxiv's story sounds alot like 'First Epistle to the Corinthians' from the bible

there are parts in the story that sound like it, SE just changed the obvious.
even one zone is call coerthas, looks beat up, then you go to mor dhona its evil and theres a big dragon your most likely bring back to life.

just look it up (1 Corinthians 15) dont know the exactly where to find it but its not too much of a read/skim over to find everything.

To title a post "omg i think SE took some stuff from the bible" and then try to insult a response that challenges that the story very well could be random is a little hypocritical. The title itself sounds like stereotypical trolling general chat nonsense.

Besides, there are also twelve deities that could be compared to the zodiac, or to Greek Gods and Goddesses. The lingo is like watching Game of Thrones ("Oh seven hells", "Gods be good", Twelveswood/Godswood). I'm not starting threads about how SE stole lore from other settings.

I personally like Eorzea's lore. I just wish they would do more with it.

also this... think about what you just said "took some stuff from the bible" also means "SE stole lore" and how lore means wow clone I have no idea.... maybe WoW clone gameplay? but that is not lore....

I don't really see the connection, all of Corinthians were letters to people (of Corinth) on vastly different subjects of problems they were having with their religious community: marriage/love, women in the church, hair cuts for men and women

EDIT HERE: I should say though, themes and VERY often names are used by SE for both characters, and weapons from myths and religions to historical locations

Too true. For example, Sephiroth's name came from the Kabbalah, Kefka's final battle in VI was a parody of The Divine Comedy, Kain's storyline in IV and later in Duodecim had a recurring theme of betrayal. and the Fal'cie's goals in XIII revolved around essentially restoring Eden.

typical overzealous christian response, "waahhhhh why wont you listen to me and agree!!! I AM ALWAYS RIGHT, all other relgions are wrong!!!!!" seriously people have their own opinions on where they get lore... but FF takes lore from ALL religions... We have Nidhogg, Odin, then we have Gilgamesh, then Shiva and etc.... We aren't being negative, I might be coming across negative... but I hate people who take offense over, "what you denounce my claim to the bible?!?! I HAVE PROOF IT IS REAL!" seriously calm down... close this thread... we don't need relgious discussions on this forum...
