Problem I run into a lot is a tank tanking him too far forward so melee are toeing the goo while DPSing him. Or the tank not tilting him at all so DPS can't do flank combos without stepping in the bad stuff.

DPSing in the middle makes it easier for melee to reach the skeletons too.
