    latency issues in only ffxiv and no any other service on the web?[pics]

    im having issues with only ffxiv latency. it started today at 6 est i got on to do ifrit Extreme and pvp. i got into ifrit and was pausing out of nowhere and then randomly resuming.. this is only happening in your game and my latency to google and speedtest.net are saying sub 20 ms... is this your security system that is conflicting with my game by sending usage reports or am i just having not such a good day on this game..
    anyways heres a picture for proof and info...
    i think i have my ports opened but you couild resupply me with ports and i can check.

    Been having the same exact issue for months, every night after 6-7pm est I lag and cannot do anything useful in the game. Had to get pingzapper to play this as its the only game I have connection issues with.

    i have the same issue, while my net is in top speed, but the ping going to the server is uber slow, have 400-500ms where usually i got 90ms only. it's started last monday, Dec 23,2013 GMT+8 time..
    we are like 4-5 in our FC that has these problem with same ISP.. we have PLDT(Philippine Long Distance Telephone) based here in the PHilippines.. any help about this admins?

    I'm starting to think its Comcast throttling or doing something else. There is a problem when I tether my iPhone to my PC and can play pretty much perfectly, but when I go to my cable ISP, I can't.

    comcast doesnt seem to throttle anymore bt its been a while since i used xfire streaming

    It's most often an issue with the ISP's partnering with your ISP to carry your data across the US and Canada.

    Testing connections to servers in Mt. Laurel, NJ and Mountain View, CA in the US are not necessarily going to be a good measure of your connection to Montreal, QC in Canada.

    well it happened out of nowhere was fine until yesterday...
    its better now but still happens sometimes

    nvm its unplayable i have a 4 second freeze every minute average
