Name and character appearance changes, and the potential monetisation thereof

I'm of the opinion there should be some method of changing one's name in game, and means of significantly altering your appearance (race, and other features not possible via Aesthetician) beyond the lone Fantasia you receive as the veteran reward for your first month.

I'm sure this topic has been raised before, but to elaborate I think Fantasia potions and perhaps some sort of Namingway ticket should be made (more) available. There are a few ways such items could be distributed; through in-game quests and events, Grand Companies for a large volume of seals, Mythology/Philosophy tome materials, or even a simple Gil transaction.
One other method, which I imagine will be of great interest to Square Enix, is by making these items purchasable with Crysta. That is to say, making them a premium service provided for real money, not entirely unlike server transfers.

People here generally either don't care about such a feature or are hesitant to push for even pseudo cash shop features, as it is a slippery slope.

I want to have paid Race change services in Mog station...similar to what WoW has....I am not against the idea of paying for this kind of services

The name change and Fantasia phial argument has been beaten in to the groud, a simple search would get you several results on each topic. maybe people are sick of replying to duplicate threads
