solution: stop crafting except what you or your FC needs. Stop gathering except for what you or your FC needs. Get off the marketboards.

If you need gil, start farming combat events for it.

The marketplace has gone toxic with an oversupply of stuff with no demand for it. You are not going to afford FC housing by playing the boards for the chump change you find scraping the scum off the sides in the tanked economy that Yoshi engineered.

The marketboards are not a gil faucet, combat is. Combat classes get their gear off vendors and bosses, not you. The only thing that the marketboards do is circulate money between them and the taxes turn it into a perpetual gil sink.
