Philo mats are going between 3-5K and 2 star crafted about 60-80K. I honestly don't know how to make money anymore.

People are humping and dumping. Your best bet is to ignore the marketplace entirely for the forseeable future. This will conserve your play time for more promising, and engaging, ventures. Sky high prices for FC housing has people on a dumping binge, and that binge will continue until most people already posess both the FC housing and their own personal housing. They'll harvest unspoiled nodes until everything's running for under 100 gil, and crafters that get baited into the trap will work the prices for high end gear into the toilet. Cheap convertables turn into cheap materia.

You're probably right. Guess I'm just gonna dungeon grind and treasure hunt with my FC for awhile.
Hmm, things are still overpriced on my server. Crab Oil 800gil, it takes 2 legs to make and only a mid lvl crafter. In fact, everything on my server is expensive still. HQ gear still sells for 6-10k, I never made any money from 2* recipes but made my million selling other junk and continue to do so.
Materia continue to sell for disgusting prices too, 40k for Battledance 3?!
Crab oil will always be expensive because the ingredients drop from one mob that is rarely farmed.Hmm, things are still overpriced on my server. 1. Some stuff go up, some stuff go down. Some people only look at a handful of items and decide those reflect the entire market.
2. Some see the 5% margin on the 50k item but ignores the 200% margin on the 500 gil item. They decide nothing is worth making.
Adjust, adapt and live with it.
Pretty much this. Though it is amusing to see entire i55 sets (that includes DoW/DoM/DoL/DoH) go for less than 10k. Who would've thought that a single round of dailies could buy the best DoH/DoL equips available?1. Some stuff go up, some stuff go down. Totally agree, they think since their 10 items they have been making forever went down, the whole market is shit. This is false, the market fluctuates, move with the flow!1. Some stuff go up, some stuff go down. Some people only look at a handful of items and decide those reflect the entire market.

I have actually seen many of the items on Balmung stay stable with the exception of the items that have been adjusted in the patch. Fleece and Diremite are not the money makers they once were, while me providing Flax still remains a stable source of easy income. Materia prices have remained stable and shard prices while extremely low have remained around 8-10g each. And for anyone who says shards should be more than that is crazy. Anything I can farm at 100% as a level 1 should not cost 20-60g each when I can hold 27000 of them in my inventory with retainers. The trick is to not flood the market. Hold on to some of you items until there are fewer items available on the boards. If you see a listing that has 120 people selling the item is probably not a good time to list yours as the prices are likely at rock bottom.
Fishing sharks the last price was 1.5k gill
catch a bunch of sharks put on market and logged out for the day
the moment i logged i just manage to sell 7 sharks
checked the market and BAM the price dropped to 550 gill
Aw yisss....
