Unable to add PS3 pre-order code to account

UPDATE: I registered the pre-order code a third time on the PS Store and it finally worked, I don't understand, but it worked. I was able to obtain the cait sith minion, hurray!

Sorry if the title does not exactly describe my problem correctly, I am just trying to get the caitsith doll pre-order bonus item before it expires.

I am a windows legacy member, and I decided to pre-order the PS3 collectors edition for the game. I was able to obtain the PS3 12 digit early access code (which is also the caitsith and moogle cap item code from what I understand) back in early august. On August 21st I used the 12 digit early access code on the PS store, downloaded the game, installed it, but have not touched it since.

From this point, I have just been playing FFXIV ARR on my PC and have not touched the PS3 version.

So today I tried to log in and register the PS3 version of the game to my account. I went into the PS3 version of the game, it asked me if I had a square enix account, I answered yes I currently posses one. I then get a prompt to log in. I enter my SE ID, my PW, and my security token code. After I enter those, I get this:

"No valid service account is available to play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

In order to play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, you must first purchase the digital download from the PlayStationStore or register a product code."

I downloaded it already on the play station store with the early access 12 digit code I got in the mail in August. Today I also re-entered that code on the PS store to make sure it was registered. Honestly I really don't know where to go from here. I looked at mog station, and I couldn't find anything on there that was 12 digits long. If anyone knows anything I would greatly appreciate it.

I did the exact same way you did but was unable to get my pre-order bonus item yet. In-Game GM and Live Chat did not help me in anything. I'm going to keep trying to register the code on the PS Store but this is already the 5th try I did =/

It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
