That is your choice, but to claim the system does not work is false though.

As I said it is the NA population making it not work... not the design of it. People are selectivly choosing to refuse to use it.. then complaining it is not working.

The issue with only doing things in a linkshell is what happens when you are online in a time the linkshell is not. The game is horrible solo.... unless you just like solo grinding. There are countless people who quit due to lack of partying... around 30 of the people who quit my linkshell that was the primary cause... 10 of my people from my shell on XI went back to Paradox on XI for that simple reason. It is a massive game breaking problem square cannot solve for many many people, yea alot of SE's primary mmo fan base likes party based leveling... hard for some people to believe I know.

And until the community stops the "We are making a statement" and just starts to use the tools given to us in the game in this respect the game will continue to degrade. There is a reason the party search is way way back on the back burner... because the one we have simply works fine.

you blame the players for not using a system they do not like as the reason it does not work? it does not work because it is not convenient to use and this is a game and a game is meant to be fun not work to get a party.

as far as doing things with my linkshell i am on at different times of the day and night and if i want a party i get a party. that is a non issue for me. i never said i solo i said i farm. there is a difference between trying to level up and going to copperbell to get a few stacks of drake scales to use to rank my alchemist or going to nawana to get cotton bolls.

until the game becomes more fun the community will continue to not use systems they do not like. this game continues to degrade because the thing they forgot to add into the game was the fun factor. if it is a headache to set a search then wait for hours to fill a party then people will not use it.

you are right we are selectively choosing to not use a system we do not like and that is our choice.

edit: btw you keep saying people say it doesn't work....look back through the thread you were the only one that mentioned it at all until this post. i only stated it because you did so. the system does work, but it is not efficient and it is not convenient so people do not use it.
