But, for the love of God, it's been Tank Tank Tank Tank Tank all damn week. This crap needs to be tweaked.

It does feel like tank 90% of the time but I've done some that were looking for a DPS and I've seen requests for healers. When I lvl my 41 pld I tend to get the desired bonus on low lvl dungeons most of the time when I use roulette. I think it should be tweaked but how would they do that? Make more people play tanks to even things out? Plus I don't feel that the bonus is that big a difference but still nice.
You can't tweak what people don't want to play. You can make tanks "fun" (Totally subjective) to play, and people will still avoid them since they and healers get most of the flak regardless of fault. I also have seen DPS a few times and healers several times.
The bonuses are weird, though. Most of the time if DPS are Adventurers in Need, then I'll try queuing as it. But the queue takes so long the bonus shifts over to Tank or Healer sooner or later anyway. You'd think the queues would be instant for the role that's lacking.![]()
register as dps, when tank is needed, pass on invite if you get one, register once more as dps and in most cases dps will be needed at this time (just my experience and works well for me)
You don't have to decline or any of that. If it says DPS when you queue, no matter how long it takes, you'll still get the bonus, should you accept the pop and complete it. Changing while you're in queue won't change the bonus for you. It's locked in at the time you queue.
Hou, that's good to know. Thanks.![]()
I see healer all the time too. And yesterday I saw DPS for story multiple times as well.
Yeah the system isn't broken. It's simply offering a reward to the class currently lacking in those cues. Seeing as tank is always instant cue (reason being is all the cues are sitting and waiting for a tank). It'll explain why you always see it as the desired class.
People need to look outside their own bubbles sometime. You can't see the painting from inside the picture.
What I wonder is how does the demand even calculate.
I just queue'd for a high level duty roulette since it said Healers were needed, waited 3 minutes. Everyone but a tank was in the finder. Wouldn't this mean a Tank should've been the one in demand?
