* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

This would certainly makes me reconnect for a while. I think I could even withstand grinding 5 whole ranks to see this.
If I remember correctly, it was the previous team who announced this. I'm not sure though.
Actually this is the only suggestion in this thread that SE has the means to pull off and that would please me, quite a feat. A shame it will never happen.




10) More lvl50 content can i name this 5 times?
3) More NMs would be nice to have some nm's that drops items for mage gear. at this point they have none.
5) More Armors and weapons would be nice to even have a r50 weapon for either mage.
14) Linkshell Administration (kicks, adds, LS retainers, LS skills, LS customizable Icons..)
25) Fix disconnects problems (no kick from partys, no losing guildleves or factions..)
these would be my top 5 with these getting honorable mention
9) More Full party quests
12) Crafting unrelated minigames (cards, racing..)
18) Improve monsters spawns and population

More client options (hide gear parts, fix sound volume for weather and doors, more chat tabs, chat colors,etc)

Here are my top 3 from that list
10) More 50 content, add endgame something for people to look forward to leveling. People keep saying they are leveling for nothing... this would add that something.
17) Fix Party Leveling, Soloing is boring as all get out. Atm it is the main reason most my linkshell only gets on at event time.
9) Full party quest. solo is boring overall.
Lower 2 would be
More nms.... if they are not 5min respawn, if they are just leave nms out.
Larger battles for more sp.... SE tried this before and it didn;t work... so if they can make it work sure.
FF14 need...
1/ A dev team with people who actually played few recent and successful MMOs.
2/ A full engine and network code rewrite. From scratch.
3/ To drop PS 3 support.
4/ 2 more years of alpha-test and content development.
I think those little 4 are way enough to satisfy everyone.
Ah. From from your list? Pretty nothing in there is as much urgent as what I listed. Maybe that number 12. Yeah crafting unrelated minigames sounds really important, in case we are not already bored enough by the crafting ones. Oh, and that 29 too, dye on crafts, because we don't want the graphical team to actually works, do we?

I was about to complain about the intern coders they got that ignore the most basic rules of gui design etc, but Nipa summed it up nicely.
