    lol just make anima unlimited and call it a day. screw chocobos tired of seeing the same copy and paste environment anyways. make it like 11 you just have to visit it once and you can warp freely. screw the boats and airships rides sitting there for minutes watching nothing happen is stupid watching paint dry is more productive just copy Wow and make it a warp dont need a birds eye veiw of the copy/paste maps.

    It's really fine to keep anima while adding the chocobos. Anima when you need to get there *now*, chocobos when you run out or when it's not super-important.

    I would say to turn anima into the regional teleports. Put in the airships, no more cross-region teleporting unless you do it from the Aetheryte Plaza in town (and then only between cities). Aetheryte in the hamlets. You can use the airships to go between areas to conserve anima (or spend it if you just missed the airship or you're in a hurry), and then either chocobos or anima for more local transit.

    I think that's a fairly good compromise.

    Anima is for lazy mode people, its making things too easy.

    I love Outpost Warping in FFXI, OP warp > *whistle Chocobo* > Off i go!
    As well as the whole conquest things and discount if your nation controls the area was awesome. Its a good gil sink, something this game needs.

    I hope when Chocobo/Airships/Multiple Ferries implemented, the anima gets lowered with increased recharge time(*just enough for those few who loves thinsg handed to em!).

    I wouldn't scrap it when chocobos and airships are added, and even if this suggestion is implemented.

    Having a lot of ways to move around the game is fun.

    Example: I am my Paladin in FFXI (T.T I miss my Paladin) I am stranded in the middle of Cape Terrigan, and I am needed in Jeuno.
    1. Use a warp cudgel back to White gate and use warp taru.
    2. If warp cudgel is unavaible. Could use my Tavnazian ring, end in Tav and change to Black Mage and warp back to Whitegate and use the warp taru.
    3. Use Field of Valor to warp me back to my nation and airship to Jeuno.
    4. Use Field of Valor to warp to home naton and outpost warp to Qufim.
    5. Death Warp.
    6. Pray to the goddess there is a black mage in the area with warp II.

    Nothing sucked harder than being completely stranded in a zone. Where you had none of the following. And you can't death warp if the mobs were low leveled.

    Wouldn't that make things easier? I mean, like now you have to travel around the world if you are out of animas, and that should be the restriction for having spent all your animas. It's like money: you can't buy a thing if you don't have it, and to have it you have to earn more money.
    I root for maintaining this restriction. It's a pain in the ass, but restrictions are pains in the ass, and this one lets you see other ways to accomplish the goal to reach other places than just lolteleport. There will be Chocobos, Airships and there are Boats and YOUR FEET. We'll have plenty of ways to travel around the world.

    What I'd really like (even two+ years down the line)

    Chocobos in cities you rent and take out in the wilds. Rough pathing that only chocobos can traverse, can lead to content/camps/dungeons/nms

    player owned airships for reaching land unable to get to by foot or chocobo. vistas/temples high up in the mountains, islands on the water

    Company airships for taking large groups of people from your company to location of content they want to perform.

    city airships that simply go from city to city

    more boat paths with fishing and new land areas like bibiki bay->pronongo or phauneut channel in XI

    as for airhsips and endgame to keep things unique, if it were an endgame event like dynamis that only an airhsip can take you- call it rough flight, and say your airship can only take you once a day then it would "need repairs to be ready again"

    Outpost warps in FFXI didn't make chocobos worthless. You still had to walk far distances to get camps or Dynamis through some outposts.

    Chocobos/Airships would still be useful in this game. You could easily just not use anima instead of asking for it's removal.
