Has anyone downed good king? I was doing it with a random group and I think it's way harder than ultima weapon. (before figuring out) did it three times only though. Damn flare and holy. Everything seems so chaotic.

I did a duty find group that just beat him. Fists drop. I ran as WAR, we had a PLD, 3 BRD, DRG, WHM and SCH. The moogles pop in the order of GLD -> BLM -> ACH-> then 4 Pop as THF, WHM, WAR, BRD.
This is Phase 1.
We worked through them, and when the four popped I grabbed and held the WAR to the side. The THF one wanders around and cant be tanked, he doesn't stick to one person, while the ACH stands in the corner and shoots. The party mowed them down and left the WAR last. After they die the get back up and summon King Mog.
This is Phase 2.
We were having issues here as there are a lot of abilities/dmg coming from all over. The King Mog steals the little moogle's jobs and uses their abilities but enhanced. After a few wipes, we tried a new strat and I grabbed him on summon; buffed hp/dmg resistance and kited him around the edge of the area while the party worked on the little ones. I believe they went BLM WHM BRD ACH THF GLD WAR. Then we just burned the boss down. Once most of the moogles are dead its not very hard.
There were a few deaths but our healer's were able to get dps back up, and the PLD after he had 90k on the last bit (we had 2 moogles left and boss and he D/C ><) It was a fun challenging fight :>
More info:
At the start of Phase 2, he'll do Momento Moogle or some such. Its a huge aoe that does dmg based on how many moogles are alive at that point. After x time he does it again. Its best to take out the squishy ones first as well as the ones that buff/heal. So something like this BLM -> WHM -> BRD -> ACH-> THF-> WAR -> PLD. Your main tank, should tank the WAR and PLD while everyone burns down the others, and off tank can kite/tank the Good King Mog. Its a huge DPS check the whole way. The only three moogles that stick via emnity are the WAR, PLD and Good King Mog. The rest wander around or stand in one place.

so it sounds like its same fight from 1.0 basically.
I have.
As a scholar, you might be tempted to run Eos, but because of the dps race, Selene is better. The more mogs that die, the less damage you heal.
Phase 1 is low healing if your team drops the moggies fast enough, so you can save your technology for the transition. Not sure if Eos or Selene is better for phase 2, but you do have enough time during the summon to swap faeries and succor and sacred soil and virus and precast succor for the aoe, which pretty much will mitigate all the damage.
From there, Eye the tank on King, and be ready to Leeches the other healer at any time. Getting the other healer uncharmed is always priority over everything else.
LOL, that strat is pretty much the same and most people had moogle on easy mode farm (but no one used melee or had lb for it)
beat him several times now.

i got him down once, what is that moogle-go-round thing? seems like it 1-hits everyone except for tanks.
Beat it the first time queuing up for it, but half of my party was premade and the tank knew what they were doing so they marked up mobs really quick for kill order. It went really smooth, you just have to be able to move out of area effects.
It's been a fun fight. Too many repeat weapons so far, though, for the few times I've done it.
