Not being able to roll greed without getting locked out is bullshit... I can't wait for Blade and Soul to hit NA is all I have to say.
No best fix for this is to get rid of the damn lockout.
That or second best fix is to not have a greed roll count toward said lockout.
That, or have the lockout only count to one of that class of gear, or one of said slot of gear.

Keep the loot system as it is. I hate going in there. New to the place be damned, if they pulled the same mistakes a few times in a row after being told about what to do/not to do, there's seriously something wrong with these players. I seriously hate that damn bone dragon. The fight isnt even all that punishing stat wise but seeing tanks pulling skeletons to the same damn platform when there's a corpse entirely visible right under his feet with me telling him to pull it somewhere else and being ignored, causing a wipe, and then having me and other people telling the raid exactly what to do and then seeing not only the same tank but also ANOTHER tank pulling the same crap again is infuriating.
Until they remove the ghetto random alliance setup and maybe bump up the difficulty to be on par with the actual i80 rewards (not for me, but for the other players out there that i will hate if i ever play with them in CT) , I dont want to have to go to that place more than I need to.
With thos lockouts and cap i just feel like being forced to do content cuz i may miss out on something this week and be behind in gear.
The CT type of lock out would be ok on coil and if the make the CT loot lock out shorter it woulde be fine 1 loot per day or 1 loot every 3-4 day.
I don't mind the 1 loot per week thing, just wish I actually saw the drop though. A full week of trying to grab the boots, even missing out on a lot for last weeks is getting tiring.
if the damn loot i wanted droped in the 1 place![]()
I disagree. I like this system. A lot more than Coil's. In here you have a real chance at an item you really want, and although it's not guaranteed, during the week if you try enough times you have a lot more possibilities of obtaining it than in Coil. In Coil you have a one time chance at the chest that has your item per week, and then you might have to compete with another player for it. Here you can open that chest as many times as you run the dungeon. On top of this, this is a blessing for those who cried about wanting to still go in after getting their weekly loot to help friends or just rerun cause the dungeon was fun. The only people who'd complain about this are those who want to have all the gear from this instance yesterday, but then, that is precisely why this system was implemented. No need to discuss the obvious fact. One item per week is stupid for a multitude of reasons.
1. People don't roll greed, so items get wasted.
2. People don't roll need on items they genuinely need because they're looking for a specific slot, perhaps to cure their case of clown disease.
3. People accidentally roll greed because the game allows this everywhere else without any penalty and end up with items they didn't actually need but can't loot anything else for the week.
Please fix this. This is beyond stupid and infuriating.
The problem for me is CT loot is not really worth a lockout. If Coil had CT's lockout system I think less people would be complaining - it would be more appropriate in Coil, imo. I like it better than Coil's too, but what's the point when Coil still exists as is? It's not like you can gear alts in any decent time, and at that point you may as well just leave them in DL.
I do still think it's stupid simply because of the amount of gear I've seen go to waste. People only lot on body/leg pieces because they're the biggest upgrade/most visible. I've even seen people laughed at for lotting on hands, because why would you "waste" your weekly lot on hands?
