Only shame I find in the low level roullette is the non tome bonus if you play with a low level character. I almost always do it on my bard since I rather gear up my characters then level them fast ( I use regular dungeons for that now, and tank ques fast.) I wish it would register that you have a lvl 50 battle class and reward you with tomes depending on what dungeon you do. Or just the regular 100 philosopy and 10 myth ones. Alas, if I really want tomes I could always speedrun WP... matter of opinion.
