Favorite Music?

I'd figure we take a break from the hating on one another and post some opinions regarding your favorite OST of FFXIV.

Music is what I like hearing the most when I play games, so it's only natural for me to find music already in this one. I have a few already but I'm gonna attempt to put down my top 5 list of memorable songs.

1. Ultima's Battle theme
2. Titan's Battle theme (1st phase, 2nd Phase, Heart Phase)
3. Garuda
4. Vs. The Garlean Commanders (Livia, Nero, Rhitahtyn)
5. Super NM Fate Monsters. (Now plays during PvP)

Also other music that I enjoy, but don't last long.

1. Dungeon Intro of Wanderer's Palace
2. Dungeon Intro of Amdapor Keep
3. Dungeon Into for Pharos Sirius
4. Dungeon into of Haukke Manor
5. Dungeon intro of Dzmael Darkhold.

So any music you guys like? I'm interested to see what music you grew fond of.

Not including reoccuring tracks from 1.0 (like Nobuo Uematsu's Steel Reason - the boss theme for Rhitahtyn and Livia, Ifrit's battle theme Primal Judgement by Nobuo Uematsu, Garuda's battle theme Fallen Angel by Masayoshi Soken, and others), I'm going to have to say these ten tracks (most of which the titles are unknown), in no order of preference:

1. Ultima Weapon second stage battle theme
2. Castrum Centri's theme
3. The Praetorium theme
4. Coerthas variation of the normal battle theme
5. BGM that plays in certain areas of La Noscea (particularly on the Thalos)
6. Aleport and Moraby Bay Drydocks town theme
7. The Navigator's Veil (Limsa Lominsa daylight theme)
8. Wailers and Waterwheels (Gridania daylight theme)
9. Under the Weight (Titan main battle theme)
10. Class quest battle theme (battle theme that plays during the final guild quest for each class)

There are others (and most of those are 1.0 tracks), but these are amongst my favourite new tracks from 1.0 by Masayoshi Soken.

There are way, way to many to name for me. In fact, I'm such a fan of the entire OST that I can fairly say that every track is my favorite.

EDIT: As for the five most memorable? I'd say:
(Someone help me with song titles, please)

• Song that plays when you fight Livia.
• Garuda
• Dungeon Final boss music
• Non-chocobo mount music
• All town themes night & day

And I'm with Hyouretsuzan, the intro music for the dungeons are fantastic and do not last long enough. Another worthy mention is that FF3 fight music remake.

I like what they did with the Hard Ver. of the dungeons. We get background music for once. I like doing Haukke manor because of it. Makes the dungeons more bearable, haha

I agree with you, I just wish they had done the same for Pharos Sirius

I... haven't really cared for anything Soken has done in XIV ARR. I don't hate it, but none of it is anything I enjoy listening to. In XI I always had music off after so many years, but if I ever entered Sanctuary of Zitah or some CoP zones I'd turn on the music just b/c I loved it so much. There were a couple songs in 1.x by Nobuo like that for me, but nothing in 2.0. I love Nobuo's one piece for ARR, but don't care for the English singer.

so many good ones, but the Praetorium story dungeon music can give me chills. i like the intro to Pharos Sirius and wish it would play the whole time. i also like when the piano drops in Coerthas.

I really love the music played during gathering leves. Just wish I had a reason to do those now so I could hear it again!
