Crystal Tower - Automatic Loot

I know there are threads regarding loot auto-received for not rolling when the timer expired. In my case, I was at the final boss for CT and our loot was the Crown of Light. As I opened up the loot, everyone in my party suddenly left the instance and as the last person in the dungeon I received the loot automatically. There was ample time left on the treasure chest timer, so it was not because I was lagging on my roll.

I don't believe SE will reset my account (I'd love it if they did), but it'd be nice if they prevented that from happening. I don't think immediately clicking on PASS is really the greatest way to deal with this issue, but it might be the only one outside of asking party members to stay in the instance. I do not have a 50tank and had no intention of rolling on tank loots from CT so it really does feel like a waste of my 1 loot for this week.

Yeah, this is a pretty legitimate concern, as well as really sloppy thinking on SE's part. In WP my friends and I always try to ditch someone with the weapon at the end because of the dumb way the game treats loot if you are suddenly the only person in the instance, but that item can be discarded and won't prevent you from getting an item you do want later. This should really be changed so that even if you are alone you still need to roll or pass before the item is distributed.

I was about to hammer you with a "Why don't you pass if you don't want the loot". Then saw the issue with people leaving before you could pass. Which is a legitimate issue and SE should def look into that. But until then, lesson learned eh? Pass asap ^^ lol

Look like they think only developer's point of view how to keep players constantly online by weekly loot lock out.
But they don't think about impact to players on thier policy.

Yes, I think it would be hard on players who watch the end battle cutscenes or who are on PS3 due to the extra time it takes to load back and see the drop.

As for me, I think I'll take the time to do the other dungeons and quests instead of CT this week because it's a bit depressing lol Will have to make sure I get what I want next week!

This just happened to me. I was too busy playing to worry about passing, thinking it would just discard itself or go to the person who needed it. It drops on me and now my loot roll is screwed for the week. I submitted two tickets and got two replies saying to submit a bug report. Do I?

How do you submit a ticket? I only submitted one bug report but they say you don't get replies for those. How do you get a reply?

If you're getting the loot because you didn't have a chance to pass, that's an issue. Just because everyone else rushes out of the dungeon doesn't mean you should be shafted.

However, if you're getting items because you were too lazy to press pass, you kind of deserve it. You obviously opened the window to see what the drop was. All you had to do was click pass, but instead you closed the window. They may change it if it happens to a lot of people and they all complain. I don't think they should change it, though. Don't be lazy and let people get their gear as soon as it comes up rather than making them wait until halfway through the next fight where they can't equip it.

It does not make sense. If I don't choose Need, Greed or Pass, it should be considered Pass
because I don't even bother choose Need or Greed before times up, so I don't deserve to get it (try thinking if it is not loot lockout scernerio)

But current system understands as Need or Greed.
It is the problem on loot system design at the first place.

Through the start menu on the game. Next to Social at the top.
