Oh, I don't know... Common sense maybe? If the jobs are apart of the foundation of the new battle system and they aren't releasing all of the core elements they might as well say goodbye to like 4 months of dev time. Do you realize how much rebalancing of the game they would have to do if they implemented the CORE of the game in stages.

Take a look at the table in the last letter again, or my other posts in this thread. Clear evidence that jobs probably will not even be in the game by the end of the summer.

First sections of the spreadsheet in the letter regards quests.

It says Job Quests, Design of quests to accompany job system, and implementation of jobs.

At the bottom of the Job System changes it clearly says; Creation of job assets, development for graphical assets for each job such as equipment, and stage-by-stage implementation of job specific equipment and weapons.

There's going to be weapons and gear and quests for the jobs but according to the cynics no jobs (I guess that's what they're trying to say). On the other hand if you equip a weapon then you are that job no?
