All you know is what's in front of you. Which means nothing. That said, ArenaNet is not going by any pace at all because you are not playing the game. This makes no sense, yet that is what this is all about. Only the unreleased game can get away with it.

Although the comical thing about this is, that if SE took the servers offline for a year and worked on the game in secrecy, few people would have an issue with it. Since that's what companies tend to do anyway.
actually we have seen more demos and videos from the devs of those two games then we ever have from SE, and their game is actually released. Those 2 games are filled with all sorts of content they have been showing off for a while now. So technically the information is right in front of us. This has nothing to do with pace in the long run though, it has more to do with the decision makers in the companies. Arena net and whatnot said straight up the game will be done when its done. And that is great. SE makes bad decisions and ends up shipping out a game that is a mere shadow of what it should have been according to early dev videos. The best pace is a pace that isnt teathered to a specific release date. Say it is done when it is done and you have all the time in the world.
