Stolen (hacked) my Materia right out of slot!

(Edit: I thought about it for a minute and was like, i'm missing 3 materia. I don't care to incite a 50 page topic about it, so basically shortened my text wall, but TD:LR my body piece was suddenly stripped, and off hand as well. Heads up, i don't want it to become a pattern with other players).

Stupid question, but you don't have two of the same pieces in your armory do you? I don't know if they fixed it, but I know in the past, if you switched jobs and back and forth, sometimes it would put the wrong piece on. I think it was fixed, especially with the pieces being marked for set, but haven't had to worry about the issue in a long time.

Turns out that's half of what happened. On my accessory side, the pieces were changed out with non-related stuff. I really don't think i'd have done that by accident, especially with the 'save new gear set' button. That definitely inflated the stat deflation. The body piece and awl though were missing the materia, and i can't explain that. Especially since i have dyed gear and an excel document on my desktop telling me what stuff i put on what gear (i made this because Yoshi and company don't want to tell us what the stat caps are for materia on stuff... really annoying).

In any case, i haven't noticed anything else strange and it doesn't seem like anyone else has experienced this so far as the board isn't booming with discussion about any of it, so i thought after making the topic to lay a bit lower with it, hence my edit. Kind of take a more wait and see approach. The topic title itself, well, we all know we're not allowed to edit those after the fact, so i'm stuck with it. It might not be inaccurate so much as i really can't properly explain how my gear got messed up.

your account must have been comprimised, you can't steal materia out of slots, the only way to remove them destroys them.

Just because you're missing 3 materia doesn't mean you were hacked. Misleading header.
