PARTY FINDER !!!!

Party Finder located under the Social Tab of the menu is one of the great things added in the 2.1 update but NO ONE knows about...

From the 2.1 Patch Note on 12/12/2013

"Through the Party Finder, you can either search for a party to join, or recruit other adventurers to form a party of your own. This feature is unlocked upon completion of the quest "It's Probably Pirates," and can be found in the Social section of the main menu."

* Players who have already fulfilled this requirement will have access to the Party Finder upon release of patch 2.1.

Joining a Party
The list of partys that are looking for members will be listed on the upper side of the Party Finder window and you may check the details on what kind of members they are looking for.



To join a party immediately, select "Join Party." You may also send a /tell to the party leader.


Searching for a Party
You can search for a party to join by setting a number of conditions such as objective and play style.



Recruiting Members
When recruiting members to join your party, you will have the option of setting various recruitment criteria. Fields include duty type, average item level, roles, play style, and language.


The online status "Recruiting Party Members" has been added to the player search feature.

This mean, no more screaming and shouting for a group as much to do whatever dungeons, Speed Run, Hard Mode, etc... Once people start using it and know what it is, it's going to make getting in a part of what you want to do or what you need to do so much easier.

Square Enix please move this and place it under the Duty Finder in the Duty Tab of the menu so people can at lest see it and try it out.

It is also a wonderful way to get to know more people on your own server for future grouping, FC/LS recruiting, etc. One of the best and so far least appreciated additions from 2.1.

On the other hand, if they don't advertise too much, then everyone you find in the party finder will be decent people who put time into reading update notes. Sounds like really good people to have in your group!

I figure i'll just be the party starter with it.

I was in a server party finder group with iLvL 70+ that failed on ultima yesterday. With the exception of 1 player, they all had a great attitude. However, we didn't beat ultima after trying for over 50 minutes. So just because those people should be knowledgeable on things doesn't mean they will know how to play well.

Also, if too few people use party finder, it will never take off and never be used.

I shout for parties but have them use the party finder to join to get the voice going but yeah SE, advertise this sh*t, its good sh*t.

The only problem with party finder I have had is that you can't add people outside of it and you can't duty finder while using it. So basically you turn it on and sit there for a very long time doing nothing but shouting in R.T. that you're using it -_-

Maybe a psychical location of the PT finder in the game world would help. Like a bulletin board in every city and Mor Dhona for ppl to check it.
