Is there any item restoration/compensation service like what they do in other MMORPG?

The duty finder bug from 2.1 caused me not to hit my tome of mythology cap last week causing me to earn only 280 seals that week due to the buggy and long duty finder which refuses to start the dungeon even after 1 hour. I've reported the bug twice already.

The in-game GM told me that he/she is unable to help me.

Have any of you had any success in restoring items or anything similar provided?

Many people have had items restored - items that they actually had but "lost" either by dropping them from inventory or other means. Some even say that the support staff have a "one go" restoration rule - ask for one item you accidentally got rid of and they will restore it - just the once.

Not sure if asking for something you did not actually get to be restored falls under this though.

As said above - only one item restore per account + not obtaining something (for whatsoever reason) doesn't equal "loosing" it so the GM correctly told (s)he's unable to assist you. Also - if you select all languages and Join group in progres in Duty Finder you'll be matched faster.
