the farflasp impernop
And the Fate xp wasn't? ;x I think the dungeon xp boost is fantastic (and should have been done sooner!), but I do worry a bit in another way that SE seem to really want us to get to 50 fairly quickly. ;o
Lily: Are you afraid of my kiss?
Jack: I'm afraid you'll break my heart.
Lily: Then still your heart... You are dear to me as life itself.
I just wish you got it more than once a day. At this point, leveling has actually gotten slower for me because even though I can gain a level the first time I run a low level dungeon, I have to run three for one level after and FATES aren't as good anymore. The groups are few and far between and the difficulty changes depending on how many people did the fate the last time it popped. So, if a lot of people leave, the next rounds take forever and you end up missing some.
got 175k exp for a cutters cry run, which took 1 hour at lvl 38 and 117k for a quarn run, which took around 40 mins
atleast you get gear there and it isnt that boring like fates, but fates pre 2.1 were way faster to get exp
You make it sound like leveling is hard to begin with.
At least now people actually have to *gasp* learn to play their jobs correctly in order to level!
You know, I now primarily run dungeons exclusively for leveling a class\job. I have noticed since 2.1 a better class of player in terms of attitude and ability. It is now for me a rare occasion to interact with “baddies”. And it helps that the FFXIV are some of the better dungeons in MMO history. My humble opinion, ofcourse.
