/thumbsup to the GMs

Yesterday while I was playing on my Roeg, I queued up for the Duty Roulette. I entered the lvl20 Ifrit fight. I was on Warrior, we also had a Monk, White Mage, and a Arcanist.
I was glad mainly because it's a quick fight and right off the bat people seemed friendly.
However, that friendliness was short lived.

The Arcanist was new to the fight and to the game. It was his second day playing. We wiped twice but the newbie caught on. After the second wipe he knew what he did wrong and was ready to give it another shot. In all honesty, we probably could have beaten it.

However, by then the Monk had taken it upon himself to belittle and harass the newbie. His reaction was out of line and both I and the White Mage called him out on it.
The Monk believed he was completely in his right tearing the newbie to pieces. He proceeded to do his best to ruin the run.
As a result I reported him for harassment.
I was quite unhappy that I couldn't do more but report him. Even if he got kicked from the group he'd have no penalty for behaving the way he did.

Later that night as I was doing my beastmen quests a GM pm'd me about the incident.
I was very happy to see this.
I sincerely hope that the GM has at least teleported the Monk in question into GM jail for a few days. Or at the very least something to make this person understand that his behavior is not acceptable.
Being online doesn't mean that you forget your manners.

yea GM did reply me, but it doesn't tell what will happen to the person, but mine was different issue than yours

I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope something is done.

I don't think they can tell us what they will do but, I do hope that something is done.
Bad behavior needs to be punished.
