Materia-Enhanced Aeolian Scimitar disappeared?

Hello,

I haven't been on consistently in about 2 months but I enjoy playing when I can and be putting in some time lately.

About a month after the game came out, I hit level 50. I started on my 'A Relic Reborn' quest, and got all the way up to HM Garuda. I had my in-progress relic weapon, Materia-Enhanced Aeolian Scimitar, and I accidentally abandoned my quest (which I was pretty upset about) but my weapon always stayed with me.

It appears now that with Patch 2.1 out, my weapon disappeared. This is really upsetting. I enjoy the game a lot more with the patch, but my weapon I struggled to try and finalize, disappears, practically wasting all my time putting into it and about 150,000 gil it cost to buy all the items for it.

I tried going to the NPC to retrieve items but nothing happens. What or how can I go about getting it back? Does Square Enix even respond to ticket, and will they even fix my issue?
